If you were in the ongoing CTIX Phase 2 OM trial and (naturally) had oral mucositis, you would be in the minority because the majority of patients in the trial did not develop oral mucositis. Honestly, and not to sound like a moralist here, but folks who bash for profit amidst a drug that is actually working for patients suffering a nasty, nasty condition is sickening. To reduce what is a highly favorable result for a nasty side effect of chemo, is quite simply dirty. But, everyone thinks they are invincible until...they are not. Hate to see when a family member of yours or you yourself are suffering from OM, and you're laid up in a hospital bed thinking, 'wish i had that drug from that company i tried to make $10K on.'

whether you believe in karma or not, invariably we all die, and karma may view you or your mama unkindly one day.
