Your point eludes me. The pioneer of 'libtard' projects, FDR, saw them through to completion.
You can visit most of them including the TVA system, Boulder and Grand Coulee dams, and countless other projects.
After that Ike built a national highway system with public money, specifically DOD money.
My point is we used to build shit and we mostly didn't politicize it.
And yeah, most of it was built with due consideration for environmental considerations long before it became mandatory.
Conservatards should really try thinking things through, first. And then a 2nd time might be helpful too.
