Even if Prurisol was only about equally effective

I've know people with psoriasis that evolved into psoriatic arthritis. Their doctors always started them on the most conservative, least potentially harmful treatments first. Then, if it didn't respond, they'd gradually move them to more potentially toxic treatments.
Even in the (in my opinion) unlikely event that Prurisol proved to be less effective than biologics, it would still be prescribed before a biologic would, because of the safety profile.
All this assumes that the next round of clinical trials is as promising as the first one.
