Some speculative thoughts on Freschfield. The broad claims of the updated and cleaned
Freschfield website coupled with the new secrecy regarding partners make me think that the
QMC PR of April 27 was either necessary as a material event that needed to be reported or allowed as a timely favor to Mr. Squires due to the close relationship developed with Mr. St. James II. The website shows confidence in the concept; the PR discusses developing nanomaterials integral to the execution of the concept; and so it is a necessary first step for the project, and an agreement had to be executed to get the ball rolling. The other components of the project - energy storage, the wall structural material, the software system, and other BIPV components seem already developed and awaiting integration. If so, they do not require payment to develop their part of the project for integration at this time, and hence no announcement of their part in the enterprise. These other parts are now hidden on the updated website - no mention of the core partners. Often when a company is seeking funding it boasts of its accomplishments and relationships; and then removes them after funding when the serious work begins and performance becomes the main metric. Perhaps that is the case here.
