They learned the hard way a long time ago not to reveal the details of all business in progress, and for more than one reason. In some cases it can give a competitor the tip off they need to either beat you to the punch with something or even run interference somehow. It's dog eat dog and many people are completely shameless as they compete for profits. Other times, obstacles are encountered and the person who shared the news is called a liar by assholes, bashers and fools who love to ice the cake by twisting words and facts.

You should relax and take your bitching down a notch cause I'm sure you'll be waiving the pom-poms when they reveal each step of marketing progress as it's completed. Fair weather friends are a dime a dozen and I doubt they're looking for more. The tears of a few scared shareholders won't likely change their marketing strategy. Sometimes stealth is absolutely the best approach, and they're going to do what they have to do.

You're going to have up and down price activity in any stock, especially penny stocks, so you should get used to it or swing trade instead.

If you still have doubts about the future of this company, a problem I simply don't share with anyone, then sell the next time you're looking at a profit and invest in something that never worries you. Good luck with that.
