Well I am home - long day. So glad to meet those

Ha- see what long day can do to my sense of humor??? Seriously - I am just kidding about Papa - he is almost the voice god if I was to hear one. It was a great day no doubt. I came away with a couple of things....
1. Be patient -we really are at the beginning of a great story. What will happen will happen and it will not be at the snap of a fingers. But there is a plan, actually 2, right?
2. Be careful not mis understand. I see about acquiring a company - I have some thoughts on that -but I do not recall that he stated acquiring a private airline exclusively, but let's make sure those assumptions are confirmed before we start throwing it around
3. Tony and John were gracious to clarify the 15 vs 50 million values that were placed out there. As someone who like numbers, my initial reaction had me scratching my head - but after discussing it, I realize that I was confused on what I heard and the color of the comment. I came away with a much better understanding of those values. (Dyna44 and I sat together and discussed it right when mentioned)
4. I would like to thank Tony for saying that they are not live streaming - my curiosity got the best of me and it forced me to register the night before and drive 4 hours there. I am glad I did.
5. The interest and involvement for lack of a better word by the shareholders, is like no other. This was stated to us after the meeting by people who attend other SHm. And this was not even the annual.
6. We are in the hospitality business. - this was the line of the day. It is the one single statement above others that sticks with me. My hope is that this is a focus point of their marketing plan later on. When you think about it, it is a powerful representation.
Ironically, and I do not know what possessed me to do it(I may have posted my thoughts a while back here I am not sure). But a month or two ago I did look into airlines that were defunct, in bankruptcy, close to bankruptcy, or small airlines requiring a larger hand. When I heard about the NDA. - I almost peed my pants - again. To me, based on a number of facets, this is my optimal choice of direction. But of course not stop anything else.
I had enough time in the ride back to think about everything. At the end of the day - they are on the cusp of something magnificent, I came away that my frustrations from a couple years ago were not only understood but shared by Tony. I was only involved in a 10 minute conversation, but you can pick up on phrases used.
Lastly - we do not appreciate enough how vested these people are - we do not appreciate the lone fact that they are shareholders also. They may not care about the price, and quite frankly, neither do I, but he does care about the execution and the vision. So sit back, or gather the coins in your sofa to buy more shares. But at least enjoy the ride...
Please excuse me if I make little sense or speak out of school... long day
