Hey Jazz, this post just might interest you seeing you believe most longs are just sheep being put out to slaughter. Well you could not be more off on that notion. I wasn't going to post this but WTF. A few days ago I got into a heated email exchange involving both DF and IR. Mr Gulas was also in on the several back and forth e-mails but he did not reply to me directly.
I am not going to get into all the details but I have to say it got a bit ugly at times but I believe I as a SH was able to get my point across AND in no way did I back down from my primary complaint.
I always remind DF, Ivan, and IR as a SH and part owner of the company they are obligated (and I am entitled to certain things) especially those items that were promised to SH's. What was promised by Mr. Gulas in his intro SH letter? Regular and more frequent communication between the company and SH's.
I applauded Ivan and David for their open and very responsive IR dept. At the same time I demanded Mgt compliment this with a detailed summary and explanation of how all our new moving parts (Swig, Lightning Ent etc) are going to work and flow together and how this will effect SH value. Also requested a summary of our detailed plan going forward.
Made it clear the SH letter is essential for bringing in new investors as newbies will not bother to contact IR. Everyone has to remember Ivan never ran a PUBLIC company previously and he may need to be reminded from time to time he has to answer to us, (THEIR BANK). Well we do have at least one Institutional investor with maybe more trying to get on board so there is now more than one bank.
I was not told yes or no whether we should expect a PR or SH letter in May during the Cannes Festival but I was happy to get my point across and to hear their VERY positive outlook of things to come. I am still buying more shares down here in the 4's.
