Cooper brought Conway on his show to discuss President Trump's decision to fire FBI Director James Comey.
The eye-roll, which quickly went viral on Twitter, came after Cooper played soundbites in which Trump praised Comey on the campaign trail last year.
"Thanks for the trip down memory lane, I was on your show often last fall saying we were going to win Michigan and how we were going to do it. That was fun," Conway answered with a wink, accusing Cooper of "conflating two things that don't belong together."
The two then argued about whether Trump's statements on the campaign trail are relevant today.
"You don’t think it looks odd at all that the president of the United States is firing the guy who’s leading the investigation into the president’s White House and the people around the president?" he asked.
Conway responded by saying the president is not under investigation.
The "Outnumbered" hosts reacted this afternoon to the "disrespectful" treatment of Conway. Meghan McCain noted similar treatment of Sarah Huckabee Sanders on "Morning Joe," where the deputy White House press secretary was accused of lying.
"She's a spokesperson for the President of the United States of America. ... I myself have some questions but you have to have some respect for the surrogates. When you do this, Anderson Cooper and 'Morning Joe,' you make us all look bad," said McCain.
Harris Faulkner said "it's not a good look" for a journalist to be rolling their eyes as Cooper did.
