The less the stock costs the easier it is for the average investor to manipulate.
Example: I can buy 10 million share of a small startup company that costs .005 for 10k. that alone will drive up the price and now I can dump that stock when it nears a penny for approximately a 100% profit or 10k which will drive that price back down.
There are brokerage houses that allow an investor to short penny stocks. In this case you buy a stock then publically trash the company so when the price goes down you collet your reward. Sometimes there are groups of people hired that go out and pump or trash a stock depending what the group is told to do. This is stock manipulation of the worst order.
IMO this board is for RMHB investors to discuss the positive moves the company is making for the long term growth of the company. Manipulators are not well received here and are weeded out like weeds in a healthy garden. Many of us know who the weeds are and feel no remorse when their comments are deleted.
