What do I mean by properly. First they issue a P.R. stating when the release will be made, at least a few days before it will be issued. Then, in either the same P.R. or another one they schedule a webcast where they discuss quarterly results, newer issues not covered in the quarterly, and most importantly they're able to take questions from at least the Analysts, and others if they so choose.
I and others have written the company about taking this approach, I've yet to receive a reply, but the best reply would be an announcement to all about when the quarterly would be released, and when a webcast was scheduled. Once done, the webcast should be available on demand for weeks after it occurs, and very likely it will also be transcribed on Seeking Alpha, or elsewhere.
I believe their is only one thing holding down the share price for OWCP, it's confusion. Perhaps management is still uncertain, and that's okay, but I still believe they need to state their goals for achieving sales of the psoriasis cream, and perhaps the sublingual tablets, as well as a plan of action for further testing of these, and other products.
We all know that not all goals will be met. Their is certainly confusion at the FDA wrt dealing with drugs based on cannabis, so that very well would cause delay. My point is that goals need to be understood, they can be modified based on the actions of others that are out of their control, but they need to be understood.
The more clearly things are stated in the quarterly report, the fewer the questions about the direction they're going. Importantly, this must include how they intend to fund what they're planning to do, and it's reasonable to say they'll either need some sort of funding vehicle, or a partnership, or perhaps both. While it should be obvious that they cannot run multiple new clinical trials without substantial funding, acknowledging it and speaking about it eliminates investor's questions.
