"Here is my interpretation.
Ziv probably took the point of view that PR's are not important and that whole "The market will accept us" approach.
From a business perspective, shareholders, management, whoever was in charge and had the power to remove him, was extremely pissed that they know what they have, they know they have a real solid company, that ran up to 3$ from pennies, and solidified their credibility in the market.
Then Ziv continued whatever terrible management he was already doing, and the price dropped. A lot. Especially after his terrible performance at the Wall Street conference where he mostly talked about how fucked the industry is under Trump. Might as well had screamed to sell. This destroyed credibility in the minds of the market and investors and made it look like a pump and dump. It destroyed publicity, it ruined their ability to use their deserved credibility for private placements, deals, etc. It really hurt huge potential publicity for the company. Yes the stock would have consolidated, but likely in the high 1s or low 2s. Under Ziv's "laissez faire" approach, the stock tanked back to 50 fucking cents. Imagine how furious management and the business side was losing all that progress?
Yes MMs also contributed, but they are an element on nature at this point. They are a constant pressure. But proper management and publicity would always over power that.
