Yes, entry level job doing things no one else want

I saw it first hand when I hung out in Hollywood for years after I won awards for some TV projects I created, optioned (paid), and later packaged with talent, producer, legal, and myself. We pitched to all the major studios in L.A. and New York (I optioned another project to a production company there too). I am pretty familiar with that world.
So, my point is if someone is still a PA after 32 years, that person's career in dead in the water. It's not a bad position in and of itself, but the length that Kitt has been doing it is.
I was lucky, I had a contract and a check waiting for me when I moved there so I skipped all the stuff like having to be a PA. I already had a deal in place and parlayed that into other deals.
It was a fun ride....dealing with actors, producers, studios, paparazzi, walking the red carpet at award shows, the parties.....but you have to really like that attention seeking, "look at me" world. That's what drove me out of it.
Plus, if someone really wants to advance in the industry, they move to L.A. or N.Y., not stay at a TV station in Southfield, MI.
