The end of MedMar makes perfect sense now. How that situation got set up is beyond crazy. Digital and I started work a little while back to find MedMar. Since two of the 3 states they planned to cover were in our back yard, made sense for us to look into the situation. From what we saw, there never was a MedMar. We started in Maryland, where MedMar applied for a MMJ license. The only place we could narrow down any existence was a small law office north of Baltimore, but that was sketchy. No one associated with the application was in that office, but the address turned up in our various searches, along with an empty field and some residential addresses. When Maryland made their licensing decisions, MedMar was not on the list. Big problem. PA was next, and this time we got an address right off the application form. We decided that I was going to go to that address and see what was there (alluded to this in previous posts). The address given in the app was an industrial metalworking firm that owned the property where the address was located. No possibility of any type of medical product distribution there- too dirty. No one there had ever heard of MedMar. Another major problem- this time MedMar falsified an application to the state of PA. Fat chance of that one getting accepted this time either. Multiple emails were sent to Ziv about what we saw- all ignored. National search for MedMar was attempted-only an office address on Wall St in NYC was found. Emails to that address were ignored as well. We, as well as everyone, were led to believe that MedMar was a going concern taking on OWC products to distribute along with their own. Never the case, IMO. We probably should have known this by the only person associated with MedMar-Steven Weinstein, an attorney. Not the normal head of a distribution company- I am involved in that world. Was never able to locate him, as there were multiple names as attorneys in the US-none attached to a company named MedMar. The head scratcher here was the $300k loan from Weinstein/MedMar. Obviously now, there was no operating MedMar at that time. Why did Weinstein agree to pay for the OWC rights with no company to sell, make or distribute the product rights they paid for? Why did OWC pay back the funds now, when it was clear in the agreement that they didnt have to do that? Just because they are nice guys? I didnt want to bring this up publicly until now, as the situation has come to an end. But some questions remain unanswered, especially where do they go now in the US?
