A few years back I applied for NUMBNUTS for my dad.....his favorite expression, as he must have gotten that from his past military experience.
He was sooooo looking forward to it, but the plates didn't come in, so I called to see what happened.
Unfortunately it was an old Salt that answered the phone.....and he laughed about it.....but he said there was NO WAY he was going to let me drive around with NUMBNUTS on my car..............
LOL.....if you look that plate up now on the NY DMV....it is one of the "unpermissibles".......
