This IS expected. As I had mentioned earlier today, a stock will continue to rise ahead of expected GOOD news such as what we all expect. The true test will be AFTER the news "Buy on rumor sell on news". A lot of people will ride the stock for a couple weeks, take a decent profit and move on. Not everyone will want to wait for Q2. With that said, a buying frenzy could also occur gap ups. This would be what looks like the "pump" from a pump and dump. It's hard to say. JMO.
