I opened my first retail business at 19, Rad Boards, selling skate boards and sporting goods. Always wanted to be self employed. Regan was president, challenging times for $200 skateboards. Met my wife, motivated me to want more. Went to nursing school became an RN. Worked through the ranks and became a Director of Nursing, was very successful at that, but hit my head on the financial ceiling so opened a nurse agency that a single service PICC lines Hence "PICCLINER". Bought a mobile x-ray company after that, and expanded to mobile ultrasound. Owned a company selling high credit risk cosmetic surgery loans. But found the banks to greedy to work with and although fun, the rates were high and decided it was not for me. I have been self employed for since 2003. Although I have done well, I am always underfunded. To be self employed is good when its good, It has its challenges as you know LT. I have a lot of competition so earn my living in the aggregate of several business. My payroll hovers around 80K each month before I get paid. Hoping for USGL gives e a little cushion to lower the stress each month. God speed to us all!
