Domestic franchises consist of both CPK/ASAP and full service restaurants. Preferred rights to CPK/ASAP restaurants are owned by HMSHost Corporation and new locations are subject to approval by California Pizza Kitchen. Royalties on franchise locations range from 5% - 5.5% of gross revenue. In 2009, domestic franchises accounted for 0.4% ($2.684M) of revenue and international franchises accounted for 0.3% ($2.078M)
