That may be true, however, think about it, Big Pharma is not in business of curing people or finding cures, they're in business of making money, some of their drugs and prices are despicable (no price control like in other developed countries), they're grinding this population to the ground.

Now we have this (novel) way of providing help to those that need it, but it's a plant, you can't patent nature, not only it provides sustained relief to some, it cures the others, not to mention any other benefits it may have.

It'll be discredited as a medicine, just like Chiropractors are discredited as real medical professionals. Their profits will dwindle down, they'll fight tooth and nail to defend their bottom line, don't ever think that Big Pharma is pro pot, that is a battle we will need to wage, we will have Wall Street on our side and the amount of $$$ this new industry can bring, but on every front we have an uphill battle.
