BTW, I heard you guys complaining about the Mrs' and girlfriends and how they complained over the years about your investing in BLTA.
I also read someone on here is getting married soon.
Well, I was married for almost 25 years but divorced in 2012 (also BTW, the ex and I get along very well, as I have always been very generous and with her I have not made any exception).
The point being ......with the new Mrs......I did have her sign a pre-nuptial.
Although we keep our assets separately (she owns one house entirely in her name, I own the other solely in my name, etc.) - the most important thing was my assets and income from those assets, and what I can do with them.
Bottom line: She has absolutely NO SAY in how I invest.
And she is a spicy, hot, Latina woman (she 37, I am 53), so that hasn't always been easy......(She won't be joining me at the SHM, as she has a pre-commitment to stand up for my niece at her Confirmation that day!).
Now....don't get me wrong.....she tried more than once to voice her opinion on BLTA, but I shut her down immediately.
May I also say that when we were returning from our visit to Stewart Airport and meeting and talking with people there, she said to me, "I wish we had more $ to invest in Baltia."
LOL.....she really doesn't know my finances, but I have put in almost $750 k since the beginning of this year.......................
