Australian Company Hemp Foods on Hiring Spree

BANGALOW, Australia, April 28, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- With the recent legalization of hemp as a food in Australia, the Southern Hemisphere’s largest hemp foods manufacturer, Hemp Foods Australia plans to expand its operations and is seeking experienced hemp professionals to help it do so.

Because of Manitoba’s outstanding international hemp reputation, Hemp Foods Australia is specifically seeking a Production Manager from the area.

The recent ruling by Coalition of Australian Governments will have an impact on the country’s economy and farming industry. Australia and New Zealand have been the last western countries to embrace hemp as a source for protein, oil and fabric, but the April 28, 2017 ruling by Coalition of Australian Governments means Hemp Foods is now set to experience exponential growth.

“In addition to added job opportunities for Australia’s farming industry, this is a very positive step towards more sustainable farming in Australia,” said Paul Benhaim, Hemp Foods Founder.

The global hemp industry is worth approximately $1 billion and growing. The market for Australian Hemp is expected to quadruple in the next two years. Hemp Foods Australia currently uses over 200 million hemp plants annually.

“Australian hemp farmers are elated at the decision to approve hemp as a food and separate it from marijuana,” he continued.

Benhaim says Australia is a great place for job-seekers with hemp cultivation experience.

“The lifestyle in Australia simply can’t be beat. We have a beautiful moderate year-round temperature, warm ocean waters and a friendly, lively culture,” said Benhaim.

“We’ve been fortunate to attract some of Canada’s finest consultants previously and they universally tell us they’re delighted at their decision to move to Australia,” he continued.

Benhaim pioneered the European hemp foods industry with the successful snack bar '9bar' and moved his efforts to Australia in 2000 where he has built a thriving production plant capable of over 1000 ton per annum, with international distribution including Asia. ABOUT HEMP FOODS AUSTRALIA

As the largest hemp food wholesaler, retailer, manufacturer and exporter in the Southern Hemisphere, Hemp Foods Australia’s mission is to provide the highest quality certified organic hemp products. Hemp Foods Australia was founded in 2000 by Paul Benhaim whose previous accomplishments include creating the UK hemp industry in 1993 with the launch of 9Bar, one of Europe’s best selling snacks, as well as authoring several books on hemp uses.

Located in Bangalow on Australia’s east coast, Hemp Foods Australia’s facility is 100% certified organic and employs low temperature technology to ensure nutritional benefits of its hemp products.  Find out more at hempfoods.com.au For media photos and videos: http://www.hempfoods.com.au/page/media-download/ Photos of Byron Bay (closest town to Hemp Foods Australia)
