I would guess this would be more for government work. Look at the rare Deinococcus bacteria --- one of them is apparently under investigation for use for data storage that might survive a nuclear event. With current events that could be useful.
Conclusion: capabilities for three bacteria were presented at Las Vegas and also published nearly simultaneously, the eColi capability will be presented at the New Orleans ASM (that's "M" for Microbiology, for those too lacking to understand), and the last is at the AACC (what do people think "CC" means? Certainly to the bashers it's Comedy Club. To the rest of us it's Clinical Chemistry). Actually pretty prestigious to present a new technology there. I'm checking my calendar and may switch schedules with a colleague in order to attend. This is exciting. Too bad most people aren't intelligent enough to recognize the potential here. Thats the problem with many penny stock investors. They should stay with brick and mortar stocks and leave biotech to Elsie and her friends.
