"The Trump Administration’s Executive Order on Cybersecurity will be released soon and it is expected to incorporate the cybersecurity technology advances in the private sector now coming to fruition into government. White House Cybersecurity Coordinator Rob Joyce has already stated that “innovation and cybersecurity are intertwined.” Automation of cybersecurity should be a part of the innovation equation to meet future challenges.

Charles (Chuck) Brooks serves as the Vice President for Government Relations & Marketing for Sutherland Government Solutions. He is Chairman of the CompTIA New and Emerging Technologies Committee. Chuck served at the Department of Homeland Security as the first Director of Legislative Affairs for the Science & Technology Directorate. He also spent six years on Capitol Hill as a Senior Advisor to the late Senator Arlen Specter.
