I was more thinking that getting to a multi billion dollar market cap is indirectly related to true valuation. I am a huge student of supply and demand and I see the inflation of market cap directly tied to supply or lack there of.
But looking further down the road so to speak, as the price rises, certain investors will most likely take money off the table no doubt. In that scenario the higher the price, the less shares sold it takes to recoup the original investment. Then you factor in those whose holdings are in a retirement account that most likely will hold for quite some time. Then later in the fact that the huger the price, the higher the market cap the more likely that it will be institutional investors picking up peeled off shares by original investors... there is safety in these numbers. All the company has to do is focus on the revenue generation component and this is a crazy ride....
