Heijmans has completed the sale of its Belgian operations to BESIX. Heijmans received approval from the appropriate antitrust authorities and the expected net proceeds of € 40 million have been realized.
As reported previously, on 8 February 2017, Heijmans reached agreement concerning the sale of all shares in the Belgian companies Heijmans Bouw, Heijmans Infra, and Van den Berg. The sale of the Belgian companies makes an important contribution to further debt reduction and results in a structural improvement of the financial ratios.
