People Store listed as one of Canada’s Top 100 Employers

TORONTO, April 25, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Recruitment firm People Store, announced their listing as "One of Canada’s Top Employers” ranking of the country's 100 Top Small + Medium Employers. The prestigious report Published by The Globe and Mail awarded the honor to the Canadian Staffing Agency in recognition of creating one of the country’s best working environments.  People Store is the only Staffing & Employment Firm to make it on the 2017 recognition list .

The study is an annual research program that publicly recognizes Canadian Employers that go above and beyond to ensure they have created great working environments for their employees. Employers are compared to other organizations in order to determine which offers the most progressive and forward-thinking programs.

“The defining features of employers on this year’s list is their flexibility to adapt quickly to changing conditions and the ease with which they can make improvements,” says Richard Yerema, Managing Editor of the Canada’s Top 100 Employers project at Mediacorp. “Since the competition was founded, we’ve observed that the leading companies have steadily expanded their benefits and HR initiatives – they offer job-seekers an attractive employment proposition combined with a dynamic and fun work environment.”

“Small and medium-sized employers are responsible for a large majority of the jobs created in the past decade, so it’s important that job-seekers be aware of the leading employers in this sector. Many of this year’s winners show tremendous year-over-year employment growth, in some cases doubling or even tripling in size,” says Anthony Meehan, Publisher at Mediacorp.

This spirit and dedication has proven to be one of the company's greatest assets. "This is the outcome of a lot of hard work," says People Store President & CEO John Nalli. "I'm really excited for the future of this firm and all the employees who help make this a great place to work."

People Store’s HR and Management teams have worked very hard to ensure employees are engaged within their current roles by providing a positive, friendly and respectful workplace culture and environment, meaningful work, growth opportunities, mentorship programs, educational programs, flexible work hours, travel opportunities, performance based bonus, competitive benefits and the list goes on.
