I don't get what the hold up is on that since financing is in place.
Just get one thing started/accomplished. I really think the food/merchandise line should come AFTER the restaurants are profitable. Same with franchising.
They can't franchise now and that's okay. They still have to fine tune business operations, which they are almost there with, and make their stores profitable before they can even talk to people about franchising.
You cannot franchise when the stores are in the red.
Also, I really think they should make the mall stores company owned, at least at first, and then move on to stand alone locations for franchises. Let the franchisee pay for non-mall construction costs, not GIGL. Since the mall stores build out costs are covered by the malls, that is their quickest path to market.
Let all these alternative revenue streams fall in place after that. Two stores are a great start. Now make them profitable, get Norcal up and running, and springboard from there. Not try and do ten things at once.
In other words, get one revenue stream profitable before taking on five other revenue stream start up projects.
