The safety margin we talked about.
The Indium precursor solution is typically added to the mixture of tris(trimethylsilyl) phosphine (TTSP) and ODE and then heated up to 150-300° C., preferred 200-260° C.

Quantum Materials Corp announced early in 2015 the development of QDX™ quantum dots, a new class of heat-resistant quantum dots that can withstand heat during both manufacturing without degradation and performance usage with high-stability, which translates to longer lifetime use. Side benefits are oxidation and moisture resistance, two environmental factors that have previously required expensive barrier films to protect the quantum dots.
