WILMINGTON, Mass., April 24, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The No. 5 UniFirst Chevrolet SS returns to the NASCAR track for the Talladega 500 on Sunday, May 7, at 2 p.m. EDT at the Talladega Superspeedway in Alabama. UniFirst Corporation (NYSE: UNF ) is continuing its partnership with Hendrick Motorsports for the 2017 NASCAR season as a primary sponsor of the No. 5 car driven by Kasey Kahne.

UniFirst and Hendrick Motorsports announced an eight-year agreement last year making the uniform, workwear, and facility services company a primary sponsor of select NASCAR races and a full-season associate sponsor for the No. 5 team each season through the year 2023. The upcoming races for the UniFirst Chevrolet will take place at Talladega, Ala., on May 7 and the Daytona 400 in Daytona Beach, Fla., on July 1, at 7:30 p.m. EDT. Both will air internationally on network television with the Talladega race on FOX and Daytona on NBC.
