A multi-modality center, Adams Diagnostic’s chief focus is small community medicine. Located in Gettysburg, Penn., it is the only freestanding imaging center in a 30-mile radius.
The eRAD platform has enabled Adams Diagnostic to streamline its workflow and to strengthen its relationships with patients and the referring physician community. “All of our referring physicians—and that includes orthopedists, general practitioners, oncologists, EMTs, every type—all of them want reports right away,” said Irfan Shafique, M.D., medical director of Adams Diagnostic. “With this in mind, we are preparing to launch eRAD’s Physician Portal so they can get same-day access. It gives us a seamless relationship with the referring provider and saves on so many time-consuming staff interventions, like calling back and forth and burning CDs. eRAD has helped Adams Diagnostic gain efficiencies across its workflow.
