Thats always possible but this issue comes up every year because the Mex govt is on vacation for ca 2 weeks and the USA govt observes xmas also, so they dont usually record the yearly renewal til the 2nd or 3rd week of Jan- shorters know this, so every year shorters shout about this,turning a normal procedure into a crisis
