If I remember correctly (and I might be wrong) Global Corporate Strategies LLC (Jeff Friedland) did some consulting as an "emerging market pioneer" in trade for the 5,134,375 shares or part of the shares. I think I read somewhere that he made a cash investment in OWCP. I believe it is talked about in one of the filings I read a while back. Does anyone know?
Anyway, Jeffrey Friedland is an Advisory Board Member as far as I know and I always got the impression that the OWCP-Jeffrey Friedland relationship has been a PR move since Jeffrey Friedland has a pulse on the MJ and MMJ market and communities here in the US, and it seemed that OWCP valued the relationship to gain credibility in the MMJ market and get the OWC name out there. Early on he was listed as a company contact for the US, but I have not seen him as such for several PRs and filings. Also other investors that post on these boards have contacted him and he has told them to contact Mordechai Bignitz.
So I have had the impression for at least a month that Jeffrey Friedland is not actively playing a role as a liaison for OWCP. I do however think that his shares were most likely restricted and Global Corporate Strategies LLC (Jeff Friedland) probably still owns those 5,134,375 shares.
