Here is the quickest answer.......All of my shares are held in brokerage houses, none of them on certificates......and I am CERTAINLY going to the SHM and will be allowed in.

Fear not. As long as you own shares SOMEWHERE and SOMEHOW......you will be permitted in.

I just suggest you BRING ID......like a Driver's License or a Passport.......and if you have any doubts, bring a copy of your brokerage statement to confirm that you own shares.......
