Market Watch Blogs 2013
Market Watch, 10 New Investing Blogs:
Let's finish up the year by recognizing some of the smartest new voices in the financial blogosphere. Some of these launched before 2012, but only hit their stride recently (in my entirely value-and-macro-biased opinion):
• Mark Dow : The hedge funder and former IMF policy economist writes on global macroeconomic and market issues in lucid and refreshingly opinionated prose.
• Interloper : A fiercely intelligent former investment banker tackles the banking industry, investing and literature with admirable introspection and conclusions that leave you rethinking the matter at hand.
• The Brooklyn Investor : Particularly strong on financials and bank stocks, this anonymous blogger does deep balance sheet dives then presents personal analysis.
• Brian Lund : A veteran SoCal trader opens up on life, markets and the effort to make a buck out there.
• Seeking Alpha's Alpha-Rich posts : The best fundamantal analysis on SA.
• Grumpy Old Accountants : Tony Catanach carries on the good fight to promote financial reporting transparency, with examples from stocks in the news.
• Simon Lack : The former JPMorgan banker and current hedge fund mythbuster weighs in on macro issues and major investing themes.
• Southern Investigative Reporting Foundation : The veteran biz journalist Roddy Boyd's recently established site continues his invaluable work from The Financial Investigator .
• Ari Weinberg : The real deal on ETFs. Between Ari and IndexUniverse , you have everything you need for assembling and maintaining a low cost ETF portfolio.
• YCharts : Jeff Bailey's editorial team now churns out a steady stream of unique analysis backed by compelling YCharts visuals.
