Remember, this is preclinical data. It is impressive, but efficacy is really only established in the clinic. It's very possible that the sublingual tablet may be used by patients with multiple myeloma because they can be marketed before clinical trials are run. If that's the case, anecdotal evidence of efficacy may be seen.
Clinical trials won't just show the drug works, it will determine how best to use it. The protocol and strength with MM may be very different than a tablet that's permitted to be sold in Green Cross stores.
It's probably been about 25 years since my wife was treated for breast cancer. During her chemo she met a many with an incurable cancer who was only given a few months to live. The man and his wife always wanted to see some of South America, and after a lot of arm twisting were permitted to take a 3 week trip there. On returning the first thing he did was seeing his Dr. as he promised, at that time they could find no cancer. I don't know if he tried marijuana, or had some other food or drink that triggered his immunity, but clearly something very positive happened. I don't know if it was sustained, as my wife lost contact with him, but the point I'm making is that miracles do happen, and our Govt. refusing to look at cannabis and perhaps many other plant based products may be avoiding finding the source of many miracles.
