Chess I liked the last paper on pulling drinking

I liked the last paper on pulling drinking water out of the air so I looked up MOF, which uses a metal ion, and can be as small as an electron charged atom, although there are compound or complex ions. QD are generally much larger, maybe 36 atoms and up, as they are compounds of at least two metals usually.
"Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) are compounds consisting of metal ions or clusters coordinated to organic ligands to form one-, two-, or three-dimensional structures. ... More formally, a metal–organic framework is a coordination network with organic ligands containing potential voids."
QMC has stated it can produce metal oxides and other NP, but we do not know whether they can make materials small enough to be a compound or complex metal ion, which i imagine are only a few atoms big.
Then I googled 'quantum dots in mof' and found quite a lot of hits, so I am excited that QD could be used by joining them to MOF for effective energy transfer in many different applications.
