President Trump's 2020 reelection campaign raised more than $13 million during his first three months in office, according to a new report.
Three campaign committees raised a combined $13.2 million for his reelection bid, Julie Banderas reported on "America's News HQ."
National Review's Kelly Jane Torrance said Trump's fundraising haul combined with RNC funds raised comes out to about $55 million total
Trump filed his formal reelection paperwork with the Federal Election Commission in January.
Torrance said President Obama and the DNC raised a combined $16 million in the same time frame, but Obama didn't file for reelection until April 4, 2011.
Eighty percent of donations to Trump's reelection efforts have come from small donors, and the committees have in turn spent more than $4 million on memorabilia like hats and mugs.
According to the report, Trump's reelection campaign slogan is "Keep America Great," which appears to be a continuation of his 2016 "Make America Great Again" tagline.
While Trump's approval rating fluctuates in the 30-40 percent range, Torrance warned observers not to underestimate Trump's power to connect with the electorate despite the low figures.
