Tony states in the PR that he intends to become fully operational by the end of 2017. A small highlight of some of the many accomplishments sense Tony's taken the helm will, i think, show that it is not only possible, but probable!
1. Retained Kelsey Law Group (who represent Kalitta) as general council.
2. Appointed John Lampl from British Air as the VP of Corporate Communications.
3. Appointed Captain Douglas Chouinard formerly of Swift Air as Director of Operations.
4. Appointed James Calabrese, a 30 year veteran of the aviation industry as Director of Maintenance.
5. Added Felix Maltisky, an entrepreneur and financial fund manager of billions to the Board of Directors.
6. Retained Ellenoff Grossman & Shole LLP to manage SEC compliance and financing.
7. Retained a new accounting firm and a separate auditing firm expressly to bring all regulatory filings up to date and current.
8. Renewed the existing certification process with the Indianapolis FSDO.
9. Announced the execution of the Letter of Intent to lease the B767-300ER from Kalitta (3 of them so far).
10. Reserved 10 new tail numbers for follow on aircraft.
11. Forged new strategic relationships with Port Authority of NY and NJ as well as in other target cities.
12. Announced a special SHM at Stewart International Airport, Hangar G, on or around May 11, to announce even more exciting things soon to come!
This is just the highlights and the proverbial "Tip of the Iceberg" of what's been going on behind the scenes while we've been waiting for "some news" or "something to happen".
