Open letter to cops the guys & gals on
the street policing my environment daily.
It is understood you should be tough and
present yourself as tough to the bad guys.
Now when you come up to me after i've rolled
a stop sign in a quiet neighborhood, present
yourself as potential service - not show up
pressed and hard as a potential threat.
You are a hired hand. Civilized.
You are no one's control agent.
It is understood that
you exist to keep everyone
from policing things ourselves.
I would ( to my good purpose ).
I am a life long supporter of
the local police in our country.
And our military.
I feel the same way about them.
I see you the same way I see them.
I know they will not at this time anyway
come down my street with course intent.
