Top Food Science Expert Joins Hispanica to Help with New Product Developments and Manufacturing Expertise
NEW YORK, April 13, 2017-- Hispanica International Delights of America, Inc. (OTCQB: HISP- "Hispanica" or the "Company"), a leading diversified food and beverage company with brands focused within the Hispanic and ethnic food industry has recruited the expertise of Dr. Shu “Greg” Cheng as its Product Development expert. Dr. Cheng has been working closely with HISP’s Research and Development team to help Hispanica develop new products under its exclusive agreement brands. These agreements allow Hispanica to add to its proprietary portfolio of products, and to accelerate our expansion into mainstream distribution channels.
Dr. Cheng has a doctorate and over 20 years of senior executive management experience in the food industry. His experience spans Research & Developments (R&D), Quality Assurances (QA), Food Sciences (FS), and technology management. Dr. Cheng’s multiple categories of experience include dairy, cheese, protein, nutritional RTD (Ready to Drinks), juices, canned, cupped fruits, and baked mixes. He is an IFT Certified Food Scientist, an Advanced SQF Practitioner, and HACCP/HARPC. He holds three patents and several Better Process Control Certifications. Dr. Cheng has held executive positions with Bongrain North America (subsidiary of the 3 Billion Euro French dairy company Bongrain SA), Raskas Foods, Inc., General Mills, and Kraft Foods.
