We Need More Help': FNC's Benjamin Hall Talks to Free Syrian Army Fighters

Fox News correspondent Benjamin Hall reported today from Turkey after speaking to members of the U.S.-backed Free Syrian Army about the fight against the Assad regime.

Hall talked to a leader of the Northern Brigade, who said his fighters' payments were cut in half three months ago because he refused to join a larger group.

The commander said his group is also "fighting many terrorists," including Iran, Hezbollah and ISIS.

A second Free Syrian Army officer from the town hit by a chemical attack last week said the atrocity has galvanized the people against Assad.

"The attack has made us even more determined to fight the regime to protect our town. But we need more help," said Abdullah Halaweh, calling for a no-fly zone to be enforced and anti-aircraft weapons to be provided by the U.S.

Shep Smith noted new reports from activists about the continued use of barrel bombs by the Assad regime. Syria denied the report.

On Monday, White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer suggested that further use of barrel bombs, which are packed with shrapnel and dropped unguided from helicopters, would trigger further U.S. action.

"If you gas a baby, if you put a barrel bomb into innocent people, I think you will see a response from this president," Spicer said.

Hours later, he clarified that the statement was not a change in "posture" by the administration.
