I think the short answer is the company wasn't expecting such a coordinated short attack. We have seen manipulation before and I think the comments in Feb about eventually uplisting show the company is aware of the shenanigans that can take place on the OTC.
Again, the writing was on the wall if you look closely: mods kicked, users banned, paid bashers defended, all coordinated with massive naked shorting. The extension was an excuse and the Passover holiday was a perfect time to attack OWCP's share price.
I've worked for strictly religious persons and they are not even permitted to talk on the phone or read emails during passover- not saying OWCP is that strict, just saying this because it is something most people are not aware of but clearly the shorters were.
IMHO OWCP should hire a US-based IR/PR firm so this sort of thing can't ever happen again. Of course, bringing in someone with a pharma PR background would be fine as long as they aren't going to have their hands tied during Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, etc.
In a year I would agree with you 100%. However, we are in the final sprint to revenue now, once we are bringing in revenues each month you will see the sort of staffing increase you want and expect.
