Mr. S. Jeffrey Johnson, also known as Jeff, has been the Chief Executive Officer of Circle Star Energy Corp. since October 11, 2011 and has been its Interim Chief Financial and Accounting Officer since April 25, 2013. Mr. Johnson founded High Plains Oil, LLC in April 2011 and serves as its Chief Executive Officer and Managing Member. He was the Founder of Cano Petroleum, Inc. and served as its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer from June 2004 to February 2011 and June 2004 to February 2011 respectively. Mr. Johnson has over 22 years of experience in the oil & gas business. His career in the industry began in corporate finance, raising funds for oil and gas partnerships for Chesapeake Energy's South Texas projects. Mr. Johnson served as the Chief Executive Officer of Scope Operating Company from 1998 to 2004. He was the Founder of Acumen Resources, Inc. and served as its Chief Executive Officer from 1993 to 1998. From 1989 to 1993, he served as Vice President of Touchstone Capital. Mr. Johnson also previously served on the NYSE/Amex Listed Company Counsel. Mr. Johnson has been the Chairman of the Board of Circle Star Energy Corp. since July 6, 2011 and as its Director since June 16, 2011. He has been a Member of Advisory Board at Planet Resource Recovery, Inc. since August 2011. He serves as a Director of Y2M (Young Men Moving), a non-profit organization established to mentor young men who may not have positive male role models in their daily life.
