Why should anyone care whether the 10-K will be fi

To be honest I really don't get the preoccupation over a 10-K. You are not going to get any earth shattering revelations. It will contain a summary of the three 10-Q (quarterly reports) and the other information released by the company during 2016. How bloody interesting will this be?
This is the 2015 10-K filed on April 14, 2016:

Personally I think that the 10-Q which will be released within 45 days from the end of the quarter (May 15, 2017 unless they file for an extension) will be much more revealing. For example, I will be very interested to know how much of the money raised they still have left, and whether or not they will need to raise more money in the near future.
