I like these boards for reading the general information but there sure are lots of comments that don't serve much use other than to pump or trash the stock. I wonder if people think they can make a stock price difference on these boards.
I am long in the stock and I want that to be known, since I am not impartial. I work in diagnostic medical devices and I know how valuable the products are in this space. For those that don't know (or care) Great Basin Scientific makes molecular assays which plays into a very large and growing space of infectious diseases as well as other markets. I can tell you with no degree of uncertainty that what this company has is more valuable than what is reflected in share price. I just conducted an interview at Meridian I can tell you GBS is in the front of their minds. Meridian would LOVE to have what GBS has right now! There is no way that this company isn't in talks to be acquired. If it is acquired...the market cap will be closer to 300M than 30M. This is a value play even if you don't think so. It isn't that I'm not blind to the fact that this company has reverse split so many times, eroding shareholder value. It happens all the time. The group of investors that win are the last ones in....the last ones to buy in. GBS spent a small fortune developing their platform. People are so blind to the fact that they're about ready to be paid out...in a big way. They just need time and a little money.
