CLEARWATER, Fla., April 06, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- On April 16th from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm thousands of children will swarm the grasslands of Coachman Park in downtown Clearwater to collect over 25,000 candy-filled eggs at the Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by the Clearwater Community Volunteers (CCV) and the Church of Scientology.

The Hunt happens EXACTLY at 12:30 sharp and is over in minutes! The hunt is for kids 16 and under only!
For a quarter of a century, CCV, The Church of Scientology and the City of Clearwater have sponsored this very fun and exciting Easter Egg Hunt in Downtown Clearwater’s beautiful Coachman Park.
Hidden in the grass kids also will find 275 Golden Eggs that the children turn in for a big stuffed bunny.
In addition to the main event, there will be pony rides, a petting zoo, LOTS of face painting, train rides on the “Bunny Express”, a gyroscope, giant slide, a large bouncy house, and a bouncy house for the little ones too. There is a small fee for some of these attractions . CCV will also provide lots of good, affordable food to purchase.
The Easter Bunny and his Mrs. will wander around for fantastic pictures with your kids!
The event is free and everyone is welcome. Families are urged to bring an Easter basket with which to collect the eggs. FREE PARKING is available in the parking lot to the South of Coachman Park.
Clearwater Community Volunteers (CCV) The Clearwater Community Volunteers (CCV) was established in 1994 by parishioners of the Church of Scientology with the purpose of helping to create a better community for all citizens of Clearwater and Pinellas County. CCV raises money to feed homeless and hungry children in Pinellas County through Public Defender Bob Dillinger’s program, Nourish to Flourish, The Sheriff’s Youth Ranch and The Sheriff’s Police Athletic League in Lealman.
