We all started out somewhere and mad not good investment or trading decisions at the time.
I can't relate to your position, but I got in at a bad point. Found OWCP after being away from trading for almost 10 years and jumped. Well it's my bad, but my good.
My average on one account is $1.50 and on the other $1.90. It's really anal loosening, but with OWCP I'm not to worried.
Folks look at everyday prices, and I do too, and think it's the end of the world when the price is not up or they are in an upside down position.
With OWCP, take it easy, relax and everything will be fine. THis is not a point and click I get money deal. In fact, the market is not that way. If you find the magic bullet, let me know.
You're young, you stated that. Take about half you money and put it into an ETF that yields about 15%. Yes they are out there. Check some of the PIMCO funds.
The rest, trade and with your profits, put them into stable funds.
All this is JMHO, but it does work. You have maybe 20 years working till quiting? You can have a nice nest egg by then.
Remember, today is only yesterdays tomorrow.
