Blaze" host Dana Loesch praised Attorney General Jeff Sessions' decision to review Obama-era federal policing reforms directed at cities like Baltimore and Chicago.
Loesch said President Obama and then-Attorney General Eric Holder "weaponized" the Justice Department to smear them in the wake of singular situations like the Michael Brown incident.
Loesch said police reform idea should come directly from the community and that she was concerned by Holder's anxiousness to involve his department after a local situation like Brown's.
She said local police departments should not have further restrictions placed on them, and said Sessions is trying to help law enforcement by making their leadership more independent.
"The Department of Justice used [Brown and Freddie Gray] as an excuse to smear entire police departments," she said.
