Home BancShares, Inc. Announces Completion of Subordinated Notes Offering

CONWAY, Ark., April 03, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Home BancShares, Inc. (NASDAQ: HOMB ) (“Home” or the “Company”), parent company of Centennial Bank, (“Centennial”), announced today the completion of its underwritten public offering of $300 million of its 5.625% fixed-to-floating rate subordinated notes due 2027 (the “Notes”). The Notes were issued at 99.997% of par, resulting in net proceeds, after underwriting discounts, of approximately $297.2 million.

The Company intends to use the net proceeds for general corporate purposes, which may include investments at the holding company level, providing capital to support the growth of Centennial Bank, repurchases of common shares and the payment of the cash consideration components of future acquisitions.

RBC Capital Markets, LLC, Sandler O’Neill + Partners, L.P. and Stephens Inc. served as joint book-running managers for the offering, and Crews & Associates, Inc. and U.S. Bancorp Investments, Inc. acted as co-managers.
