Companies generally don't stock bespoke quantum dots.Samples are usually sent out in gram quantities and most likely are a custom order ( sh letter discusses new material spec requests ) with specific properties.When a commercial order is placed then the ramp up of qd in kg orders will begin.They are probably using both reactors to create materials of differing specs for the 5 film manufacturers they stated they are currently working with or perhaps other companies in other fields of qd tech.As an example if they are working on Tetrapod shaped qd and sperical qd samples at the same time they would be using different chemicals and therefore using both reactors for different materials.They also stated doing 100 optimizations a day in the reactor and would think the smaller one would be best suited for that purpose.The shareholders letter stated both reactors had been brought back on line and recommisioned .Just my thoughts from many years of research and reading on and using info from the SH letter.
