Midstates Petroleum Announces Participation in IPA

TULSA, Okla., March 31, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Midstates Petroleum Company, Inc. (“Midstates” or the “Company”) (NYSE MKT:MPO) today announced the Company will participate in IPAA's 23rd Annual Oil & Gas Investment Symposium (OGIS) on Monday, April 3, 2017 at 9:45 a.m. eastern time, in New York City.  Nelson Haight, Midstates’ Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, will present and conduct one-on-one meetings with investment-community representatives at the conference.

The presentation will be web cast live and archived on Midstates’ web site in the Investors section, www.midstatespetroleum.com .  A copy of the slides prepared for the presentation will also be available on the web site the morning of the presentation.
